Peer to Peer Car Sharing
Final Project for User Experience Design at the University of Washington
Problem Statement Urban young adults are unsatisfied with their current transportation options as they are unable to reliably and flexibly travel throughout the city while keeping their costs at a manageable level. Not only are the current solutions inefficient for the users, they also do not take any steps towards reducing the number of vehicles on the road.
Vision Statement The design of our product will provide our users with access to reliable and flexible transportation by allowing them to share a widely unused resource, parked cars, without the high fixed cost, uncertain scheduling, and time constraint they currently experience with traditional car rental companies. This product will simultaneously save and make money for our users, increasing user acquisition and retention.
